Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and/or actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols and post instructions. Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or escalating situations as needed.Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
